Supercool is an independent branding, design and web development agency based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, who in January of this year, celebrated its sixth year in business or as Supercool would put it in their typically cool and creative language, their ‘Half Dozen’.
The agency offers a broad range of services that can be neatly packaged into three distinct areas: branding, print and online and thanks to the team’s broad range of experience and unique set of skills across these areas, Supercool boasts a talent for applying creative thinking in a logical, meaningful way.
Supercool’s mantra is to help its clients communicate consistently, confidently and convincingly and it does this for small companies through to large organisations such as Arts Council England and Campaign for National Parks to name but a few.
But as well as what you know, it is of course, who you know which is something that Supercool also excels in, having successfully collaborated with many of their digital ‘siblings’ and neighbours from across the West Midlands on projects for local and national clients.
One current project of note for Supercool is a website in collaboration with Lichfield District Council. Fix My Tweet has been set up to enable people across Great Britain to report physical issues to their local council using Twitter. The system is built on top of the successful FixMyStreet website, which was made by the high profile web developer Matthew Somerville and others for mySociety, and is a shining example of how digital innovation can enhance social democracy.
